In the spirit of the season, the Palau Visitors Authority (PVA) is pleased to announce Palau’s first ever Christmas Festival. This festival will take place at Ernguul Central Park on Sunday evening December 17, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm and will comprise of several local bands performing Christmas music, leading up to a special performance by Guam’s Jazz all-star ensemble “The Blue Note 6”. The seven-man Jazz band with manager includes some of Guam’s legendary talents: Patrick Palomo, Trey Cunningham, TJ Hubert, Michael DiAmore, John Glaser and a Palauan Female lead vocalist, Shannon McManus.
The festival will include vendors selling Christmas candies, food, and drinks and will also feature many holiday photo-op moments for the whole family to take advantage of, from a photo booth with “Santa” to the Christmas festival themed decorations that will be set up throughout Ernguul central park.
Prior to the Christmas concert, the band “The Blue Note 6” is also inviting the public to join them for two prior performances. The schedule and venue for those performances including the Christmas festival are as follows:
- Saturday /December 16, 2017 - The Cove Resort – 6pm -9pm
- Sunday Brunch /December 17, 2017 – Palau Pacific Resort – 11am – 1pm
- Sunday December 17– CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL – Ernguul Central Park – 5pm-9pm
